But let’s explain the reason why VERO ITALIAN TRADITIONAL FOOD decided to start this path selling only PASTA and PRESERVED IN OIL VEGETABLES choosing them among a wide range of products.
The first reason is the high quality of our pasta, in fact we sell different kind of Artisan and genuine Italian Pasta, all of them are 100% without chemicals addition and they are produced with one of the best Italian wheats, Appulo Lucano, that is a particular wheat produced only in Basilicata region. Our pasta in fact is produced by a pasta factory which is based in Acerenza in the amazing region, Basilicata, in the South of Italy. The Pasta factory, the Antico Pastificio Lucano produces our pasta, with the typical flavors of the Lucanian land. Our pasta was born from the passion and consolidated experience, with the aim of making pasta with Lucanian flavors known and promoted. Our company guarantees the origin and quality of the main raw material, such as semolina, preserving all its nutritional properties in the processing. Our pasta is the result of a very long history, and it is produced following ancient recipes, with the attention necessary to guarantee genuineness and compliance with food standards.
The main characteristic of pasta VERO is the production process that is particular because it is with slow drying at low temperature (40 °C) and with bronze dies. Our pasta needs 55 hours to be produced and it is hand packed.
The sizes and format we have on Alibaba are short and long. Concerning the short pasta we have Calamarata liscia, paccheri, fusilli, penne, cavatelli, rigatoni, trofie. The long pasta we have is characterized by linguine, spaghettoni and bucatini. All of them are specific shapes which can be cooked with sauces, vegetables, meat or fish.
Concerning our preserved in oil vegetables, instead, we will take the opportunity of the livestreaming to launch our new labels and packaging design, that we decided to change in order to make them more appealing and suitable for foreign markets.
The main characteristics of our preserved in oil vegetables are that they are healthy and gluten-free. In order to produce them we only use seasonal ingredients carefully selected by the trusted farmers.
They are wonderful with bruschetta, on pasta and cheeses and they can go well with fish or meat as well. The preserved in oil vegetables are aubergines, artichokes in Roman style, chicory, broccoli, dry tomatoes. Moreover, we have two high quality jams: The Extra figs Jam and the red onion jam. The extra figs jam has a marked consistency, with pieces of whole fruit inside the jar. Furthermore, the particular cooking process, which takes place under vacuum and at low temperatures, avoids the destruction of proteins and vitamins present in the fruit, keeping the organoleptic properties and the taste of freshly picked fruit unaltered. Excellent for breakfast, to combine with cheeses and to make delicious pies. The ingredients are only figs, brown sugar, lemon juice.
The jam or compote of red onions lends itself very well to being spread on a good piece of hot bread, or as a sauce for a roast, but the harmony of tastes when melted in the mouth with aged cheese is unmatched. The ingredients in this care are red onion, sugar, salt, acidifier: E 270 lactic acid.
Concerning the aubergines in slice fillets, the artichokes in roman style, the chicory, broccoli and dry tomatoes, they can be used as appetizes or as first or side dishes.
