One hundred years of history and personal stories link the Valentini family to the city of Montefalco. In the background, the most authentic and unpolluted Umbria region, related to the culture of its land, where every peasant gesture resonates with wisdom, simplicity, passion and sacrifice. Stories of men and work in the fields, framed in a hilly landscape of rare beauty. Since 2002, the Valentini family has returned to interpreting this environmental and cultural heritage, giving life to Bocale, a company created in order to make treasure of that ancient passion for wine handed down for several generations. Bocale is the dialect word that indicates the two-liter mug of wine or oil, but, above all, the name with which this family from Montefalco has always been identified. The productions of Montefalco Rosso, Montefalco Sagrantino and Trebbiano Spoletino are authentic expressions of a path of innovation in tradition, where only the fruits of nature are mixed with the perfection and simplicity of human gestures. Full respect for environmental cycles and care for the artisanal process are the central elements of a philosophy that makes Bocale wines natural products with great personality.
In line with this philosophy, Bocale decided to explore the USA market thanks to the support of VERO ITALIAN TRADITIONAL FOOD, which has helped the company to distribute their special products in the American market.
With its Montefalco rosso e Trebbiano Spoletino, the best selected wines, Bocale is now on the shelves of the Eataly store in Dallas, Texas, with the aim of sharing with American people the Italian style and demonstrating that high quality Italian food and wine are within everyone’s reach.
